At Inis Aran, we believe that great knitwear should feel as relevant today as it did decades ago. Our collections are inspired by the textures, colours and character of Ireland's Atlantic coast, while being designed for modern lifestyles and contemporary wardrobes.

Every Inis Aran collection begins with the yarn. We work with carefully selected natural fibres including merino wool, lambswool and cashmere blends, chosen for their softness, comfort and ability to age beautifully over time. From there, each garment is developed in-house with a focus on proportion, texture and versatility.

Our collections are organised into three distinct worlds, each offering its own interpretation of contemporary knitwear.

Heritage

Inspired by the enduring character of island life, Heritage represents our Aran collection. Featuring traditional cable structures, timeless silhouettes and rich textures redefined in modern knitwear that celebrates the enduring appeal of Aran design, yet has been re-designed for a modern consumer.

Atlantic

Our Atllantic collection offers a more refined interpretation of Aran cable knitwear. Lighter in weight and quieter in expression, the collection combines considered design with subtle texture to create a luxurious knitwear suited to contemporary living.

Studio

Designed for everyday wear, studio focuses on modern textures, relaxed silhouettes and versatile layering pieces. The collection reflects a simpler, more understated approach to knitwear while remaining connected to its island inspiration.

Rather than creating garments for a single season, we focus on pieces that can be worn year after year. Our approach values longevity over trends, quality over excess and thoughtful design over fast-changing fashion.
