Inis Aran is a modern Irish knitwear brand inspired by the landscapes, character and enduring spirit of the Aran Islands.

Designed in-house, our collections reinterpret traditional island influences through contemporary silhouettes, refined styling and exceptional natural yarns. We believe knitwear should be effortless to wear, beautifully made and relevant to modern life.

It is understood by your use of our web site that you have familiarized yourself with our terms & conditions.

Description of products 

Each product is sold subject to its product description and or photograph. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions, photographs and prices of products appearing on our web site are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto our web site. Although we aim to keep the website as up to date as possible, the information including product prices appearing on this web site at a particular time may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you place an order. Product orders, prices and availability of all products and services listed on the site are subject to change without notice. The listing, description of, or reference to, a product or service on the site does not imply that the product or service is presently available or that we endorse that product or service. In the event a product or service is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, error in pricing information received from a supplier, or any other reason, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for such product or service at the incorrect price, even if the order has been confirmed and/or your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we shall promptly issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price paid.

Order Acceptance 

A receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or for no reason at all. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order, with prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you have ordered of any product or service.

Shipping & Delivery 

The shipping times quoted are estimates from our delivery partners and are not ever guaranteed. While very effort is made to ensure we offer a quick and hassle free delivery service certain factors are outside of our control. We do however keep you fully informed of expected delays in dispatch or external delivery problems as they happen so that alternate arrangements may be put in place.

Any additional charges levied on Inis Aran for mistakes or delivery errors due to incorrect delivery information or parcels being returned due to no one being available to sign for a delivery or for reasons not caused by a mistake by an agent of Inis Aran will be the responsibility of the sender. Your use of our web site authorizes us to recover all costs from the sender for these additional charges. We use various shipping companies for deliveries and they in turn use various contracted couriers internationally to fulfill international delivery. If there is no one generally at home during the day to accept delivery we urge you to consider using a different address such as a work address as delivery is only attempted on one occasion before being left in a local depot for collection for a few days. Courier companies can levy surcharges once a parcel has been dispatched to have an address changed in the system for delivery. 

If shipping insurance is not selected at the checkout then Inis Aran cannot be responsible for any packages deemed missing or lost at any part of the delivery process once shipped out from our facility with a live tracking number  

Returns, Exchanges or Damages. 

We hope that you are delighted with your purchase from Inis Aran. However, for any reason if you would like to return any items (*certain restrictions apply), we are happy to provide a refund or exchange assuming that the goods are still in their original packaging and in fully re-saleable condition. To receive a refund or an exchange you must return the goods to us within 14 days of delivery. Goods must be returned with your packing slip to the following address : Mail Order Returns, Inis Aran 36 Abbey Street, Ennis, Co Clare, V95V0RV All goods returned must be in a perfect and saleable condition with the original product packaging, labels and instructions where appropriate. If the goods do not reach us in a perfect and saleable condition, and in their original packaging, then your right to a full refund will be affected. If returning goods, the parcel and its contents are your responsibility until they are received at our address. The cost of returning the goods is at your expense. This does not affect your statutory rights. We recommend using a registered postal service and retaining the proof of postage as we may require signed proof of delivery. Inis Aran is not responsible for returned goods being lost or damaged in transit back to us. If returning goods to one of our stores, you will need to have a copy of the delivery docket that accompanies the shipment. Without a copy of your delivery docket, we are unfortunately not able to accept any returns in the stores. Please note that your original delivery charges will not be refunded when the non delivery is not our mistake ie, no one home or wrong address given. * Restrictions – we are unable to offer a refund or exchange on special orders, sale products or personalized products (unless the mistake is ours)

Damaged/Faulty Goods 

In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or is faulty, please email sales@inisaran attaching an image of the damaged item immediately. Damaged deliveries must be notified within 3 days of delivery to you. We will then arrange for a collection of the goods and organize a replacement to be sent out at the earliest opportunity. In some instances or geographic regions you will be asked to post the delivery back to us and in turn you will be given a full refund on these postal charges incurred. Due to the natural nature of many of the products supplied we cannot be held liable for any perceived flaw, slight colour variance or disappointment in size for any product delivered to you. We never sells seconds and each garment has been produced by to a recognized standard of excellence and is checked prior to packing. 

Refunds can only be offered onto the original card that was used for payment. 

Product and Service Availability 

We operate our inventory system live in tandem with our retail stores and endeavour to maintain our stock levels accurately across our facilities. However, Inis Aran cannot guarantee that we will not oversell in error or sell out of stock of any particular yarn colour or garment nor can we guarantee that we will continue our service offerings, prices or facilities indefinitely. We reserve the right to offer you a substitute for any product of equal value and nature if the original product becomes unavailable or to offer a full refund if a satisfactory replacement cannot be offered. Customers will always be notified in the unlikely event that we sell out of a product or a product ordered being discontinued with our replacement suggestion and or option of a full refund.

Payment 

You are responsible for any payments due for any products or services ordered through your account. If we do not receive payment from your credit issuer or its agents, you agree to pay all amounts due to us. You shall also be responsible for any costs of collection of overdue payment. Sales Tax (VAT) We are required by law to charge applicable value added tax on products shipped within Europe. All prices shown are at checkout are the final prices with no hidden duty, tax or customs fee's on delivery. 

Ownership of Materials 

Inis Aran designs and creates its own merchandise offering and is the owner of all copyright, trademark or proprietary information on the site. No material or product photography from this site may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in any way without the prior permission from an agent of Inis Aran in writing. Modification of the material or use of the materials doe any other purpose is a violation. All designs, trademarks, service marks, product photography are proprietary to Inis Aran. Your are authorized to view and download a single copy of material solely for your personal, non commercial use. No right, title or interest in any such downloaded material is transferred to you as a result of any such downloading. 

User Comments, Feedback and Other Submissions 

We do not solicit nor do we wish to receive any confidential, secret or proprietary information or other material from you either through the site, any of its services, by e-mail, or in any other way. Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing prior to your submission to us, any comments, feedback, information or other material submitted or sent to us will be deemed not to be confidential or secret. By submitting or sending comments, feedback, information or other material to us you represent and warrant that the information and material is original to you and that no other party has any rights to the information or material. All comments, feedback, information or other material submitted shall be and remain the property of Inis Aran and we shall have the unrestricted, worldwide right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display such material and information (in whole or part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed. You also warrant that any “moral rights” in posted information and materials have been waived. Designs, trademarks, product and service names used in the site are the original designs, trademarks, trade names or service marks of Inis Aran. You may not distribute product pictures or offer services under or by reference to or otherwise use or reproduce any such product designs,  trade marks, trade names or service marks or use any meta tags or any other “hidden text” utilizing any such trademarks, trade names or service marks, without the express prior written permission of an agent of Inis Aran

Registration and Security 

If you wish to purchase any products or use certain services on the site, you must provide the required information to us. By entering any information on the Site, you represent and warrant that: (i) you are using your actual identity; (ii) you have provided only true, accurate, current and complete information; and (iii) you will maintain and promptly update the information that you provide to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. Additionally, you agree to maintain the strict confidentiality of your account and any passwords issued to you for your use of or access to the Site or any portion thereof, and you agree not to allow any other entity to use any username(s) or password(s) that are issued to you.
